UVM is an independent community project maintained by vicmrp.

Website privacy

This website does not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Hosting servers process connection information, such as IP addresses and request paths, to deliver the service. Operational request logs are used for troubleshooting and service security.

Checking and publishing mods

When you check a mod folder, file hashes are calculated in your browser. Only relative file paths, hashes and the Paradox mod ID are sent to UVM for comparison. The files themselves stay on your device.

Published build evidence is public. This includes release manifests, source references, file hashes, signatures, public signing keys and the GitHub accounts and proofs associated with them. Private signing keys stay with their owners. Observe activity is not collected by this website.

Verification and responsibility

A reproduced build indicates that the declared files match signed build evidence. It is not a security audit or a guarantee that a mod is safe or suitable for your use. Review the available evidence before installing or building a mod.

UVM is not affiliated with or endorsed by Paradox Interactive or Colossal Order. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Linked services, including GitHub and Paradox Mods, have their own terms and privacy policies.
